I love posting new things and then looking back through my stuff from the past couple of years and seeing how much I have improved. Makes me feel better and think that maybe I'm making a little progress.

For example, the piece I just posted, "Paladin" is a departure for me. I usually draw characters just standing there, not actually doing anything. This is because I tend to draw starting with the head and working my way down, kind of making it up as I go. However, with this most recent piece, I planned out what I wanted to have the picture turn into, what I wanted the character to be doing. What this resulted in was something that I was pretty happy with and will enjoy working with more.
